Close to fifty years of editing/proofreading experience. BA English/Philosophy (Wits, 1972), MA Creative Writing (2018), PhD Creative Writing (2023). Certified through UCT and CIEP.

Since 2012, has helped more than 400 eager authors prepare, polish and then publish their books internationally.

I began proofreading novels and academic papers that my family and friends were busy with as a side 'hobby'. From there it grew into proofreading internal emails and client-facing collateral within my corporate job.

I then realised that a career in editing and proofreading was what I wanted and so I left the corporate world of being an office manager / PA and started my own proofreading and editing freelance business.

During this time I also completed my BA English through University of London Goldsmiths.

I am now 4 years into running a successful editing and proofreading freelance service for publishing houses and individuals alike.

BA Hons English and HED (Stellenbosch), taught for five years, lectured for one year. More than 25 years of publishing experience including 13 years with Struik Christian Books.
